The TAG System is a combination of hardware manufactured to the highest standards in Germany that utilizes the latest in GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) technology and cellular communications – and custom designed software and user interface.

The TAG hardware constantly communicates its position and movements to the TAG server through the cellular network. The TAG also contains a motion sensor and self contained battery so that it functions even when the vehicle itself is off.

The TAG software is accessible from any computer with access to the internet. Through the software the operator can configure how they want to control and monitor their fleet. GEO Fencing is the ability to create “zones” or a “barrier” in a specific geographic area. The operator can determine what the vehicle does when it enters this zone or barrier. The driver can be warned through an audible alert, the operator notified by email, or the vehicle can be disabled. It all depends on the desires of the operator as to how they want to manage their fleet.

Through the TAG’s powerful tracking capabilities the operator always knows where their vehicles are located. The system operates in “real time” providing up to the minute location as well as a detailed travel history.
